It Is My Business is a unique approach to Holocaust education
for middle school students, which emphasizes the consequences
of allowing evil to triumph and the power of the individual.
It Is My Business is designed to teach students in both
Jewish day schools and congregational schools in grades
six, seven,
and eight about the history of Germany in the 1930s.
This curriculum does not focus on the death camps nor
does it
focus on the human suffering. This curriculum affords
students the opportunity not only to study the historical
events
of the time period, but also to compare and contrast
current
events, as well as biblical texts, contemporary issues,
and related literature.
