http://www.haruth.com/JewishUSAHistory.html
These sites offer a list of states and links to Jewish organizations within each state.   In addition, clicking on the second site with bring you to a tremendous collection of resources that approach the history of the Jews in the United States from a myriad of perspectives.  There are sites from different parts of the country, from various organizations, and even a provocative site on which a number of Jewish individuals talk about what it means to them to be Jewish in the U.S.
http://www.amuseum.org/jahf/virtour/page7.html
The Jewish American Hall of Fame offers a virtual tour and a list of well-known Jews, many of whom are Americans.  There are brief biographical sketches of all these personalities, as well as short explanations of many important historical events, both in the United States and in other parts of the world.
www.thejewishmuseum.org
The Jewish Museum website has several very interesting on-line exhibits, including one on Jews, Media and Broadcasting.  This exhibit is no longer at the Museum, but you can view it on-line and even add your comments on a variety of themes and issues the exhibit raises.  You can read about the history of Jews in the media, and learn something about the effect this has had on life for the Jews of this country as well as in forming attitudes in others toward Jews.
www.jewishculture.org
The National Foundation for Jewish Culture is sponsoring a charted, 106 passenger, cruise, which will leave from Curaçao on May 12 and arrive in New York City on May 25.  The cruise will travel through the Caribbean stopping at Jewish landmarks throughout the area, with special guest lecturers on board for the trip.  Whether or not you have a spare $7000 - $15000 for the cruise (not including airfare!), the itinerary itself is a wealth of information and a terrific resource.  How about taking the idea and planning your own “real” or “virtual” trip to places of Jewish historical interest?
www.shearithisrael.org
Shearith Israel Congregation, the oldest congregation in The United States is celebrating 350 Years of American Jewry. Check out their site for the history of the congregation and up-coming events.  Other than their own history as a congregation, most of the site is devoted to Sephardi culture rather than to the interaction between Sephardi and the rest of the Jewish world or even the non-Jewish world.
