The Parent Education Program (PEP) is funded through a grant from the Butler Family Foundation.

PEP features lectures by leading specialists who help parents of children with disabilities be more effective advocates. Parents have opportunities to meet with experts who can enhance the parents’ parenting skills, to share concerns, to understand the nature of their child's disabilities, to explore available options, and to make informed choices on behalf of their children.

Practical how-to workshops feature such topics as how to help a child gain self esteem, how to do homework more efficiently, how to help develop their child’s social skills, how to better manage their child’s behavior to mention a few.

Please refer to BJE calendar for schedule
