A Letter to an Israeli Soldier
Diaspora Youth Identifies with the Soldiers of the
Israel Defense Forces
As Israel prepares to celebrate her 54th year of independence on the
Fifth of Iyar, (April 17), The Jewish Agency for Israel is initiating
a worldwide immediate campaign to give the opportunity for Diaspora
youth to connect and identify with Israel 's soldiers.
Within the framework of this campaign, children, youth and students from
Jewish communities throughout the world are asked to send personal letters
to the soldiers who are now defending the State of Israel in a war against
Palestinian terrorism. At this time, it is especially important to express
unity and mutual responsibility for one another throughout the Jewish
world.
How to Send Letters:
These personal letters can be sent in one of two ways:
- Handwritten or typed letters-
- These can be sent to Israel to fax 972-2-621-6133 or 972-2-621-6214
- The letters can also be sent by express mail (delivery within
72 hours) directly to Israel
(it is best to send letters in a centralized manner):
